One of the great benefits of our neighborhood is our irrigation system which distributes water from the Uncompahgre Valley Water Users Association. We have an excellent team of homeowners who have volunteered to assist with the water system.
East/ West Water Restrictions
For 2024 we will follow the same restrictions we had for 2021. The west half of the neighborhood will be asked to water on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The east half is asked to water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. While BOTH halves of the neighborhood will be allowed to water on Sunday, but use caution as you may not have enough water (just adjust your watering times)!

If you need assistance with your pump or sprinkler system itself we can make recommendations on someone to call, but that’s really not our specialty.
About Water Restrictions
In 2021 we were forced to introduce some watering restrictions to the neighborhood. These restrictions are simply to accommodate the demand on the system within the neighborhood. We will explain this better in the “how it works” section above eventually but suffice it to say the system simply can’t support everyone pulling water from the system at the same time. With a large number of people all watering their yards in the morning, we have neighbors that simply don’t have water to pump out of the system. In order to coordinate this fairly, we simply ask half the neighborhood water on Monday, Wednesday, Friday while the other half water Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with Sunday open for everyone. This greatly helped many of our neighbors solve some of the contention problems in the system but rest assured these restrictions have nothing to do with the neighborhood water rights or lack of water.
